Comments about Moonlight Slumber Starlight Support Supreme Crib Mattress (Innerspring w/ Visco):

I chose this mattress over the organic ones because I wanted the best for my son; a mattress with no weird smells or chemical off gassing, that was antimicrobial, water resistant, and easy to clean. And this mattress is all of those things. Additionally, it is very easy to change the sheets or flip over because it is very light. And it is dual sided so it's supposed to grow with your child. The only problem is that my son HATES it! Even the toddler side is extremely firm. He will not stay in it for more than a few hours. I am considering purchasing a plush mattress cover for it to see if that makes it more comfortable for him. If that doesn't work I may have to move him into a full sized bed before he is 2. I've heard firm mattresses are safer for babies, but I don't think it matters if they're not willing to sleep on them! I can't help being disappointed, especially because it was so expensive to buy! I wish I could return it.
