I was skeptical, at first, then got on the Plasmacar myself to see if the twisting of the steering wheel would actually make the thing move...I found myself giggling with delight as it glided across the floor. My 18 month granddaughter was able to make it work, but my 14 month grandson will need to grow into it. The 20-30 age group loved it! How unique to have a ride-on toy adaptable for so many age groups.

I wanted to order a plasma car for my son. After some research, I decided to order through Rightstart thinking I will definitely get the original rather than a knockoff. However when it arrived I noticed that they sent me a used car. There were scratches, discolorations, and dirt on the wheels. I called up customer service and a replacement car came a week later. But to my surprise this replacement car was incomplete. I only got half the parts. So now I have a banged up used car and half a car sitting at home and more importantly a very disappointed son!!!

This is a fun toy, once you get past the ridiculous two front wheels. As per other recommendations, I bought inline skate wheels (76mm with abec-5 bearings) and swapped them out for the two main front ones (you just need a 10mm socket for the axle nut). It REALLY took maybe 3 minutes to do and made all the difference in the world. Now it's actually fun and my 4-year old will keep his feet on the toy instead of trying to speed it up by using his feet to push along.
Another really annoying factor is something a recent reviewer already mentioned: this arrived looking very much used! Seriously, the wheels were all scratched up, the foam bolster around the steering shaft was torn, and there's pen marking on the seat! It surprised me, to say the least.
