The Orbit Baby Toddler Car Seat is the best designed and most convenient convertible car seat you can buy, and it's a revolutionary upgrade for your Orbit Infant System. It easily docks onto Orbit's Base (rear-facing position only), Stroller and Rocker with Orbit Baby’s patent-pending SmartHub.
The Orbit Baby Toddler Car Seat can be installed Rear-Facing or Forward-Facing without the Base, with the included Braces. Extensive side protection areas have multiple foam zones to keep your child secure. EPP foam is higher-grade, softer, and more durable than brittle Styrofoam. Adjustable headrest and fully removable upholstery can be cleaned without removing the restraint harness. Ballistic nylon back panel stores the full UV Sunshade, as well as all belts and straps.

We also used the Orbit infant system. We were happy with it as well. The main con is that they are both so heavy and the straps twist easily but it wouldn't keep me from purchasing this again.

Love this carseat. Perfect for travel. It is a little on the heavy side but worth being able to have the baby in the car seat/stroller through the airports. Works like an infant carseat for toddlers!

We switched from the Orbit infant car seat to this car seat once our daughter turned 1. I like it but I do miss how the infant seat turned and this one does not. I also wish this seat was a little more reclined to make it easier for when our daughter sleeps in the car but maybe all toddler car seats are like that. It is very roomy and I like that you can catch the straps on little velcro circles when you unbuckle the child so that when you come back to put her back in they are out of the way and not down in the seat. We enjoy having a Orbit system.
