We occasionally need to move the crib around to a different room depending upon how many of our children or grandchildren are staying with us. This is so much lighter than the inner coil mattresses. Also makes it so much easier to change the sheets. Right Start didn't charge a delivery and it came very quickly.

Eighteen months ago I encouraged my daughter to buy one for her first baby, 8.5 lb. because I felt it would give him good support from birth through the youth bed years. She is now pregnant with her second and expecting another good sized boy. So many people buy beautiful nursury furniture but forget about the most important piece. I sleep on a good foam mattress set and know how comfortable a good supportive mattress can be. This mattress is firm, supportive, sanitary, sheets stay in place, and babies feet and arms don't slip between bed sides and mattress. When your baby wakes up and stands up in bed you don't have to worry about him falling due to a flimsy mattress and hitting his head on the side of the bed. Go for it. It's worth every dime you invest in it. You won't have to be in a hurry to move your child out of the youth bed because the flimsy mattress you bought sags, is cracked, or split.
