The baby herself (turning one year old this weekend)is the best commentator on the value of the Learning Tower. We set it up about two weeks ago and as soon as we showed her how to get up in it (She's been walking since 9 months.), it was hers!
Instead of looking up at the huge adults around her, she can now see her world from her own special perch. Her Mommy and Daddy placed the Tower at the end of the kitchen counter and from there the baby can see into the living room and is in on all the kitchen activity. She takes toys and books up into the tower and plays with them on the counter. She usually has her snacks there now. When she gets up in the mornings, the first thing she does is climb up, ruler of all she surveys.
Her mother taught her how to get up and how to back down using the cut-outs on the side. She can make her own choices about when to get up and down and does not have to be helped.
I like that the platform she stands on is adjustable and I see her using this for many years. It's a great idea and I do think it gives the developing older baby/toddler a wonderful feeling of POWER.
Great product. It is shipped flat-packed and is quite heavy, but you can see as you put it together that the weight is necessary. It is very sturdy and stable as it needs to be. They chose the bright blue color and there is quite a wide selection of other colors.
I can't think of anything that isn't great about it and it is the baby's response and obvious delight that makes me write this effusive review. She really loves it.

We purchased to help our 16 month old wash her hands more independently. It works great for her to be able to climb on top of and get closer to the sink. It is very stable and there is no fear of the product tipping over. However, it is big and bulky and thank goodness in our kitchen we can tuck it under our island when we are not using it and put it out of the way. We can't use it in our bathrooms because there would be no space to store it or get it out of the way. Also, the extra pieces for better stability work great, but are also great places to stub your toes on them. Overall this does a great job on the purpose that we bought it for, but if you have a tight space it will be difficult to get it out of the way.

This is exactly what I needed in the kitchen for my little helper. My son is 2.5 yrs old and loves to help in the kitchen whenever he can. It is sturdy enough that he can stand in it without my fear of him falling out. I love how he is surround by railings as an added security. He climbs up well on his own.

This is a great product! My 18-month old loves being able to see and participate in activities at our level. He is able to safely climb in and out of the tower without a problem. We also use it as a safe alternative to climbing on the kitchen chairs, table, etc. When he starts climbing on anything else we re-direct him and tell him that he is only allowed to climb on the tower.

My wife and I cook several meals a day, so we spend a good chunk of our lives in the kitchen. When our son was smaller, we carried him on our backs while cooking, but at 18 mos he's 30 lbs., so we started putting him on a chair, which was very sketchy. With the learning tower he is learning the culture and techniques of cooking while being safe. He can even climb in and out on his own! Life saver!

My Grandson absolutely loves his learning tower. Drags it all over the house and in front of the TV to watch his shows - sometimes dances in it. Reminds me of a little go-go dancer.
