We haven't started to use this product but we bought this after a wide and indepth research as well as other users' reviews. This model receives high rating and good reviews in general.

What we think as pros of this product is the gentle warming pace (which is better for the consistency of the milk) although it's also a con for few people (for heating too slow when needed).

Another plus is the big fat Comotomo bottle fit in the heating compartment, much to our relief!

I will try to update with more in-depth review once we have started to use it after our baby arrives.

We wanted to use this to heat up breast milk for our newborn. However, it takes a long time to heat the milk up using this. To heat something up from fridge cold to body warm temperature, it takes at least 10 minutes.

The main problem we have now is that the bottle just floats in the heater, because our baby is newborn and drinks only up to 40ml a time. There is not enough milk (weight) in the bottle for it to stand in the heater. The warm water just pushes the bottle up and we need to manually press the bottle down for it to heat well.

For milk heaters, I guess this is the best solution because it doesn't use steam that destroys the proteins in the milk.

However, if you use formula milk, I think the best would be to heat up water in a microwave first to serving temperature and then add the formula. This would be much faster.

First off, rite start is a fantastic company but this product was terrible. I thought by buying a highend bottle warmer life would be easier, but this was not the case. We had 2 units break on us. The 1st broke a week after we bought it and the 2nd broke the 1st day if use. Both times the product broke seemed to be related to turning the dial to zero when the milk was warm which was the product manual recommended. After 2 broken units and a refund, we just started heating the milk on the stove...

Great Product - Needed to sumplement with formula. I give her the breasties for 15 minutes or so then some formula. I set the timer to 5-7 minutes - heats up - once breasties are done, bottle is nice and warm and ready to Go
