I love the concept of the Peapod but I think my 6 month old is just too young for it. I thought this would be a great change from lugging around a pack n play for weekend trips. My twin boys were both freaked out by it. I think it is the first time they have tried to sleep with something over their heads. During a nap in the Peapod my one son had his head in the pod and his body outside the pod on the floor. I laughed and thought "maybe when they are older they will like it more.

Good concept but the set up is really unsafe! When I took this tent out of the box I couldn't find the directions so I took it out of the bag and unlatched the safety strap. The tent FLEW open and smacked me in the face. It's a good thing my daughter wasn't standing close or it would have hit her too. And this doesn't just gently open, i mean FLIES open HARD!!! It doesn't even tell you in the directions how to safely open the tent either, it just says to be careful when opening. :/ The other thing that I do not like about this tent it that the opening flaps do not stay rolled up. They hang down over the opening no matter how tightly you roll it up. I would save your money and buy something else!!!!!

Comments about KidCo Peapod Plus (Cardinal):
Have used KidCo Peapod tents with my triplets since they were 5 months for napping separately and traveling. They have made traveling possible for my family, whether by car or by plane. At 2 my boys are getting snug in the smaller tents and there's no way they're ready to be unsecured and share a bed in a hotel room or most of the places we visit, so it was time to size up. The bigger tents are great. My only wish is that the mattress was the self inflating camping mattress like the smaller green tents, but that recommendation has fallen on deaf ears at KidCo. My boys love their new bigger tents and we're putting them to great use for naps at friends houses and travel adventures.

Comments about Kidco Peapod Plus (Sagebrush):
Bought it initially for my son to have a bed when we travel. We had a pack and play, but it was old and I sold it a while back. I thought this would be a lighter and more useful option in the long run, since it is for kids up to 6 years old.
Well, my son was terrified of it in the beginning. Not sure what it was, but he just was unable to calm down in there, even with me halfway in there with him and with his pacifier in his mouth. Over the last three weeks, I've had it open in his room, and he's gotten more and more comfortable with it. He's even gone in to play voluntarily from time to time. Today, he took his second nap in there, with minimal fuss. I think it might work out after all.

Comments about KidCo Peapod Plus (Cardinal):
I need something for my 9 month old to sleep in during our road trip. I didn't want to use hotel pack n plays or cribs. This tent was compact and easy to use. We took along a crib sheet and waterproof pad just to cover the blow up mattress. The only thing I didn't like is that the tent was off-gassing. We tried to air it out but it just seemed like there were still chemical odors lingering. Zipping up the tent also seemed to trap all the odor in at night, even though the solid flaps were up. Chemical smells are a big concern of mine, so I was really glad to get him back to his crib at home.
