The Fisher-Price Rock and Play has been a life saver! Our baby started not sleeping well around 4 weeks old due to severe reflux. He was uncomfortable when laying in his crib- even though we elevated the mattress with a wedge. We bought this to try out for nap time and ended up using it for night time as well. It keeps him elevated at least at a 45 degree angle. Now that he is over 4 months old and his reflux is getting better, he's back to sleeping in his own crib, but we still use this. He likes to hang out in it and play with his toys while I am taking a shower, doing chores, etc. It's lightweight and slides easily from room to room.

Exactly what the title says. I bought this thing 4mos ago when my daughter was 2 weeks old. It is the exact same style, but just a different color. Bought it brand new at babies r us but don't see it listed here on the website. Anyways... It worked fine at first, and was perfect for keeping our baby in the living room with us while she napped. I like how it is lightweight and folds up... And he vibration aspect is neat. Fast fwd about a month after using... Light squeaking started coming from the frame. Fast fwd to now... This thing squeaks, clanks, creaks like a rotting old bed spring mattress/frame. We don't even use it that often, just for naps, but it is HORRIBLY loud! Oh, want to transfer baby from your arms and into the sleeper? Sure lets try... Oh no baby is stirring, let's try and rock her a bit, ok.. Here we go, just lightly,.. CRRRRREEAK! Oh darn, baby is awake now. Pick her up, rock her again. Maybe next time will be better. NOPE. Even the slightest touch and this thing is creaky. It will make you hate your life when it comes to nap time. You're either stuck holding your baby in your arms, or attempting to put them down and this thing and hoping to god it doesn't make noise. I'm pretty sure I read a couple other reviews in which this has happened to others. Ugh. No bueno. This is a rotten contraption. If only it didn't squeak, creak and clank, it's be awesome.

Comments about Fisher-Price Newborn Rock ’n Play Sleeper:

A must-have item for a baby registry! We had so many people recommend it to us, and so glad that they did! Our daughter slept in this until she was 5 months old. She wasn't a fan of the vibrations, and that was okay because we got to save on batteries! Score!

Love this

Comments about Fisher-Price Newborn Rock ’n Play Sleeper:

I was having a difficult time getting the baby to sleep anywhere other than my arms. We decided to try the Rock 'n Play Sleeper. She almost immediately started sleeping through the night. She is now 16 weeks old and I wish there was something similar but bigger that she could transition into.

Great for newborns

Comments about Fisher-Price Newborn Rock ’n Play Sleeper:

Here are a few things that I like and dislike about this rocker: LIKES -light and portable -nice gender neutral design/color scheme -vibration is quiet -incline is great for baby's head when sleeping -convenient to have next to bed for nursing DISLIKES -it was tough to put together, I don't plan on disassembling it due to not wanting to have to put it back together again -wished the vibration can be put on a timer -a few weeks into using it, it started to SQUEAK very loudly when we rock it. - that is my biggest complaint /concern

Baby Purchase Must Have!!

Comments about Fisher-Price Newborn Rock ’n Play Sleeper:

This is one of those items I wish I had had years ago when my first baby was born. With #12 on the way I didn't think there was any baby equipment I needed, especially the newer items that seem like a waste of money and space. Yet I received this as a gift and absolutely love it! If I had to choose just one baby item (swing, bouncy seat, bassinet, etc.) I would not hesitate to choose the Rock and Play over everything else. I love how it folds up for easy transport, love how gentle the rocking motion is, and love the inclined position. I could not be happier with this!
