I have purchased every type of carrier (moby, EZSling, Baby Bjorn - and the list goes on) and I must say that out of every single one the Ergo is the best by miles... I can nurse in it, we walk together in it every night... I've had my three month old in it since she was a month.. I seriously do not know what I would do without the ergo. However I do not recommend buying the newborn insert... Just use two receiving blankets folded up! Not to try to take business or purchases away from Ergobaby but the newborn insert in my opinion just doesn't work very well, and my baby didn't like it at all. Coming from someone who owns every type of carrier - BUY THE ERGO!!!!

I used this carrier quite a bit from the time my son was about 3 months until he was about one year. However, by the end he was quite big and was no longer being supported knee to knee. I also found that the heavier he got the more uncomfortable the carrier got around the waist since the webbing just kind of digs into you with little padding. I think this is mostly an issue when the child gets heavy and there is more weight to support. I would still recommend the carrier, but probably more for smaller babies and smaller adults.

Love it still at 22 months

Comments about ERGObaby Organic Baby Carrier (Navy/Highland Plaid Lining):

This has been my favorite carrier, I also own baby Bjorn and Maya wrap. Love how easy it is to hold stress free. Was awesome to use for nursing on trips or just walks at our local park. The side carry never felt comfortable to me but front and back are great. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. We still take it with us on any long day out and I love that it is neutral enough that my husband likes to wear it too.

Amazing!

Comments about ERGObaby Organic Baby Carrier (Navy/Highland Plaid Lining):

This is by far my favorite baby carrier. I did a lot of research on each carrier. There is so much to say about ergo. I bought the galaxy gray carrier in case darker ones would overheat. I have a boba black wrap and I get hot in it fast. Speaking on the boba wrap, it's a good wrap, but when my baby got over 2 months old he hated being confined in the wrap and tries to escape. It also takes a lot of time to put on if you aren't used to it or rushed. The ergo makes me sit straighter just by the design and makes my baby feel lightweight. Amazing padded straps. The stars are more of a silver which is fantastic. My baby can look around while I do things around the house or outside. Easy to use when doing errands. Matter 3 times wearing it I figured out how to breastfeed outside and you can't even tell! The hood is awesome. I'm okay that it's not detachable because I'm an airhead and would end up leaving it at home. Two other bonuses is the zipper pocket that you can use as storage or purse. The other bonus is the safety strap that goes around the waist buckle just in case it breaks. I don't think it will because the buckles are hefty and strong. But it's just nice to know that if it does break that the baby will be safe. I do have to add getting some sort of teething pad for the straps isn't a bad idea. My baby is three months and already is chewing on the straps! I do not have the infant insert. My baby is past the weight limit and has awesome head control for his age. (Even though his head is pretty protected, I still use my hand to steady him just in case. )

Love the product but had to search for a video of how best to use it as the numerous step directions that have only vague pictures was useless.

Love it!

Comments about ERGObaby Organic Baby Carrier (Navy/Highland Plaid Lining):

I bought this 2 months ago and I am so happy with it. I can wear it for hours with no back pain, even though my baby is over 13 lbs. He falls asleep as soon as he is in it also. Great to wear at the ballgames! We held our baby on the bleachers during our daughter's dance competition and our backs were killing us. We had to keep passing baby back and forth. Wearing him in the Ergo is amazing, we can sit and our backs never hurt!
