Love the standard bottles. Evan has used the bottles since I stopped breast feeding. He easily latched and never had a problem experiencing gas or being fussy. We've used the premie, 4 ounce and now the 8 ounce bottles. I can't wait to see Evan hold the bottle and feed himself! The bottles are lightweight and easy to clean/put together. I just wish they had more coupons or stores had them on sale more often. Also looking forward to using Dr. Brown's other products; such as teething, nooks, sippy cups and silverware:)

I bought these Natural flow bottles kit includes 3 8oz, 2 5oz's bottles 2 months back. I used all bottles they leak too much, I tried lot of tricks to stop that leakage but no use out of them. They leak too much as if the baby's dress or blanket is having the bottle milk. I heard Dr Browns bottle are best but I was shocked when I saw this terrible leaking. really I am not satisfied with DrBrowns bottles.

My daughter was born with ...

By TXABQNM

My daughter was born with HLHS, since day one we've had issues with feeding and she was inserted with a gtube because anything taken by bottle would just come back up and wasd really causing digestive issues. We tried the Dr Brown bottles and everything has turned around. They are awsome, the vent of air release is really helping her. I've recommended them to all my friends with newborns

Issues with tearing Y cut nipples

By Rhys

from San Francisco, CA, United States

For our first cleft child, born in 2010, we fit the Pigeon brand cleft palate Y cut nipple and valve onto a Dr. Brown's bottle. The venting system worked well with the Y cut nipple and valve, except the fit was not perfect and unless we tilted the valve, it would leak. For our second cleft child, born in 2016, we were so pleased that Dr. Brown's came up with its own valve. The problem is that after 2 weeks our big boy outgrew the Level 1 nipple (too slow and doctor said he wasn't gaining enough weight), BUT Level 2, 3, or 4 nipples would drip automatically once the bottle was inverted, flooding his mouth when he was taking a break and choking him with a flood of milk. Following the example of the use of the Y cut nipple in the Pigeon system, we decided to try the Dr. Brown's Y cut nipple. They worked perfectly when they were new. The milk didn't flow when he wasn't pressing. It gave him the breaks he needed. The PROBLEM is that Y cut nipples would TEAR so easily. We have been through 12 nipples in the past 6 weeks. The last few we've been treating with such care when washing. They still tore. Further the Y cuts are off-center and not completely cut through when new. It's as if the Y cut variety were an afterthought, and the nipple material was not designed to handle Y cuts. As soon as the cuts got bigger, the flow would be too much for the baby and the choking and sputtering would start again. This is totally unacceptable. If you're going to make a product, it should last more than 4 days before they break.

Leaks!

By Liannaccio

Love these bottles but they leak like crazy. I make half breast milk and half formula bottles and store in fridge. They end up leaking out the cap even when filled less than the line. They also leak when feeding baby. Highly disappointed in them. I also have the 8 oz bottles and they don't seem to leak as bad as the 4 oz.

leakage

By mommyto5

from Deer Park, NY, United States

The only problem i have with this bottle which i used on 3 of my children and I'm going to be using on 5th baby in January is they leak. I wake up and my sons beds soaked. If i put rice in his bottle it doesn't leak, and i only use number 1 nipple so i don't know. I love them tho. I can boil them without them melting.
