We purchased this model as a secondary seat that is used between my sedan, auntie's SUV, and grandma's SUV (so far). The seat is relatively lightweight - I can move and install it by myself, so long as I am not also holding the child! It also fits rear-facing in all of the vehicles, including my sedan. My only frustration is that my 20-pound infant seems small for the extra stiff and long shoulder pads. It seems to take extra work to cinch down the straps and getting the chest strap up to his armpits puts it right against the pads. After taking time to adjust everything, his safefty is not compromised, but the adjustments take more effort than what I would call "simple" or "easy." I should add that I suspect that this may go away once I have put more miles on the seat - the stiffness may just be a new seat issue.

Our ten month old twins are comfortable in the seats, but it took some adjusting of the shoulder straps to get the fit right. You need to pull up on the headrest to increase the amount of strap available to you. Chicco promotes the car seat as suitable for many vehicle types and although it is easy to install in the rear facing position you can only utilize seat level 1 and 2 in our BMW X5. Hopefully when they go forward facing the other levels of recline will be available. Finally, the cup holders were clearly an after thought and do not fit our 12 ounce sippy cups.

Comments about Chicco NextFit Convertible Car Seat (Mystique):

We really wanted to like this product. THe idea that it reclined was a selling point. In reality, we dislike the seat. The button that tightens the straps is EXTREMELY hard to push and creates a lot of frustration. I've also noticed that on trips longer than 20 minutes my son seems to be in pain around his groin/legs. I think it's because there is a little "arm" on the straps where it connects with the buckle. It literally digs into his legs when he's all buckled in. We are considering selling this and buying a Britax.

Comments about Chicco NextFit Convertible Car Seat (Mystique):

We've been using Chicco Keyfit 30 until the seat belts seem too tight for our 8M old so we naturally went with Nextfit. It seems like the best feature is its 9 recline. I don't feel the number of reclines are that relevant to me need necessarily but more is better than less I suppose. It magically fits my Audi A4 in the center when even the Keyfit seems a little too crowded. My only problem is we also tried installing it in our Tesla with racing seat and it totally would not fit anywhere. You just really need to check whether the car seat will fit your own vehicle, it does not fit universally.

Easy to install and take out!

Comments about Chicco NextFit Convertible Car Seat (Intrigue):

I bought this from buy buy baby about 6 months ago. We transitioned it from rear facing to forward facing with no problems. I wanted a carseat that was easy to get in and out and not a fight (aka: I don't want to be sweating to get this thing out of the car). It so easy to get in and out, push of two buttons, unhook that back and you are on your way. Very durable, it IS heavy, but most are heavy now because they are made to work! Comfy ride for my daughter, I was able to get the cover off to clean and back on with no problems -- cleans up great. I love how you can move the headrest up and it adjust the straps for you. The cup holder can move from one side or the other which has been nice if we are in a car where we need to move it. Would recommend this to all we know. Its worth the price! This is our 2nd Chicco product, we had the travel system first and used it with both of our girls .. now 4 and 2.. after two uses even the travel system looked brand new, held up well, which stands for the Chicco product. We should of just went with chicco for my 4 year old's convertable and learned the hard way through others that are cheap and hard to get in and out of cars. With our newest little one we knew we would buy chicco and the nextfit was an excellent choice! Love it!

Comments about Chicco NextFit Convertible Car Seat (Intrigue):

I love the extended rear facing factor and ease of installation the most. My seat was made after Nov 2013 so the straps are easily tightened. I would buy it again, for sure! I only wished it rear faced longer than 40 pounds.

Comments about Chicco NextFit Convertible Car Seat (Juno):

My child is 11 months old, 23 lbs and over 30 inches long. Seems very comfortable for my child and was easy to install in my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. I love the latching system, it easily allows for a very tight fit.
However I was not able to use the quick straps in my 2002 Chevy Tahoe as they were not short enough, I ended up using the seat belt.
The green color seems to show stains very easy so we are washing it quite often.
As other reviewers already mentioned the harness is very hard to tighten.
