We just had our car seat and the extra base installed and it was so simple! We watched how it was done and have full confidence that we can do this ourselves when we need to. Both of our cars have the latch system so maybe that is why it was so simple.

Of all the infant car seats we researched the Chicco Keyfit was the lightest to manage. Even when the car seat is attached it's still light lifting, which was extremely important to me as a first time mom. We liked it so much we bought an additional base so that we have one in each vehicle!

The car seat base is extremely easy to install. At 8 months pregnant, I didn't have a problem getting the base securely installed. When researching infant car seats I read that some bases do not fit into all cars - well, I was able to install this base in both an SUV and a smaller hatchback. Very happy with our decision to go with the Chicco Keyfit!
