Chicco seats themselves are great seats. however I am looking for a Chicco seat with a SOFT fabric. The 'surge' style does NOT offer that. I have another Chicco seat in Bella pink and both the seat fabric and the insert are soft. This seat is extremely rough, and the insert is made of that vinyl material with holes in it. I'm sure that's to make it breathable but at this point we just want something soft. I wish the close-up images were better quality.

Baby hasn't arrived yet, so will update this review if anything changes. Easy to install (in my 1997 mercades sedan), and don't need a seat protector (nothing pointy on the bottom to damage the leather seats). Fits into my UppaBaby Cruz stoller with the adaptor. Light, stylish.

We love this car seat! We researched a lot of car seats before deciding on this one. The Keyfit has excellent ratings, especially for safety. I also went to the store to make sure it fit in my car (highly recommended). I have a Subaru Outback and the manual recommended installing it behind the passenger or driver, not middle. So I went back to the store to make sure it fit in those positions well and it does. The actual car seat is very easy to install. The graphica fabric is a bit nicer than the other Keyfit models. It is softer and seems easier to clean. The only negative I have is I wish the shade would come down a bit further. It seems like a very short shade. Other than that we are very happy with it!
