The Britax Boulevard 70 Convertible Car Seat is designed for children rear facing from 5 to 40 pounds and forward facing from 1 year and 20 lbs up to 70 pounds. The Britax Boulevard 70 Convertible Car Seat achieves revolutionary head safety through the use of Britax SafeCell Technology, Integrated Steel Bars, and Versa-Tether that work together to minimize head excursion and reduce the risk of head injury during a frontal impact.
The Britax Boulevard 70 Convertible Car Seat also incorporates Britax True Side Impact Protection and offers a five-point, no-rethread and quick-adjust harness, multiple buckle and recline adjustments, and an easy access cover and access to belt paths from the front of the seat. A body pillow is also provided for comfort and infant positioning.
360 Degree Protection Features:
• SafeCell Technology features SafeCells designed to compress in a crash, significantly lowering the center of gravity and counteracting the forward rotation of the child seat which normally propels the child toward the front seat
• Integrated Steel Bars strengthen the connection to the vehicle and reduce forward flexing of the child seat during a crash
• Patented, Energy-Absorbing Versa-Tether features a staged-release tether webbing to slow the forward movement, reducing the crash forces reaching the child, and a two-point attachment to minimize forward-rotation while anchoring the top of the child seat

This is even better than the Boulevard 65. Changing the harness height and crotch strap to go from fitting a 10 pounder to a 55 pound kid is quick and easy. The seat has been quick and easy to install in every vehicle I have tried, latch or seatbelt. The print is prettier in person, it is more purple than the stock photos show. I was surprised that my 5 yr old son didn't mind riding in his little sister's seat. The seat is a bit wider than some, but takes up less front to back room than most convertible seats, which makes it great for rearfacing in a tight space. That and the easy to remove and wash cover were the main reasons I chose this seat. Very happy with my decision! Remember to purchase the separate infant insert (grey foam insert that goes under the seat cover) if you plan to use the seat from birth. I wish it had been included.. that is my one and only complaint.

This is a great seat AS LONG AS it fits well in your car. It's LARGE and takes up lots of room. If possible, I would suggest you try one out (maybe borrow a friend's) before buying.
