Bought this to have at our home when we have our granddaughter. My daughter loved it so I bought one for her home. Our granddaughter actually was diagnosed with acid reflux. The doctor suggested her sleeping in an upright position. This was the perfect answer!

Our 1 month granddaughter enjoys sitting upright while feeling snug and secure at the same time. It works well to rock her to sleep as well-although I have a hard time putting her down;) I had something similar for my children when they were babies but I like the babybjorn much better!

I was looking for a PVC free swing. It was a long tough search. There were hammocks that hung from wood stands but that isn't us. Read about this bouncy on a 'green' website. Hubby n I debated over this VS the Mamaroo swing. Read like a hundred reviews n called their customer service. Apparently it has phtalate-free pvc in internal parts, but its lead free. That wasn't good enough for me but it took realising that Manaroo is only safe till child can sit up on his/ her own which tipped the balance. You can use bjorn bouncy till about 2 yrs old. I read reviews for other green' bounces but they weren't too great. This one had stellar reviews. So that's why we bought it.
Had it for about a month & couldn't be more pleased!! My daughter loves it, will stay in it while I eat/ shower/ cook. It's light enough to carry up n down stairs to different rooms. I'm considering taking it out to a friends place for dinner as well. Diaper leaks? No problem. Reverse the fabric cover to the clean side or toss in the wash.
Once I knew it was a good buy, I got the wooden toy as well. Daughter likes it, keeps playing with the bright flowers.
The bouncy had helped with acid reflux as I have somewhere elevated to lay her after feeding without her being flat.
I am truly glad I got this bouncy instead of plasticky stuff I could've only used for a few months! Just make sure your doc says your baby's spine/ neck is ready for a bouncy before you start using it.

wanted a durable bouncer and something to sit up my newborn with reflux. gave it 4 stars because it's way over priced including the toy and i wish it had a vibrating feature like most bouncers. Looks great seems sturdy.
