At first I thought this item was going to be way too big. But in fact, it's just right. Even for my little preemie. We use this a million times a day. It's very cushy and soft, plus the four sides keeps her from rolling off, if she were able to roll, which she isn't just yet. In the beginning, we used to pass it along the bed and other places at night while we changed her. Now we have it attached to a changing table. We can also strap her in if we want to. When she's crying to be changed, she stops as soon as we place her onto this changing pad, even before the diaper is changed. We definitely wouldn't be without it.
